Who we are

Innovation is a team of around 30 exceptionally dedicated individuals, with a passion for client service and professionalism. We are car-fuel tax, payroll and employee benefits experts, focused on client service, project management and solution delivery. We work closely with our clients to turn our award-winning solutions into reality and save them and their employees millions of pounds every year.

What we do

Innovation History

We were originally set up by three former colleagues and friends from EY, Deloitte and PwC who had a common dream of delivering alternative thinking and solutions together with great client service but at an affordable and competitive cost.

Kate joined Innovation as a Partner when the company was set up in 2007 and is now on the Executive Board.

An experienced Operations Manager with over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Kate oversees all operational activity for the business.

Kate manages the Innovation Centre, ensuring the highest standard of service delivery. Her passion is helping people develop to their full potential, thus benefiting the individual, the team and the wider business.

After juggling three children, Kate enjoys keeping fit and training for half marathons.

Claire has been with Innovation since 2011 and is a member of the Executive Board.Having previously spent 20 years in the pensions industry working for two large life offices.  Primarily specialising in process and people management across pre-sale and back-office administration functions.Claire is a specialist for implementing some of our service offerings and post-sale processing with a particular focus around compliance, GDPR, and data privacy.

Claire’s interests include walking and supporting Liverpool Football.

With a background in financial services, Emma has over 15 years’ experience working in system software testing and quality assurance.

Since joining Emma has been the project lead for Innovation’s mileage capture system.

Helen joined Innovation in 2014 having worked in the hotel and leisure industry for 25 years.

Helen is responsible for managing some of Innovation’s major clients. Her attention to detail is second to none, and she is incredibly passionate about providing excellent customer care and training.

Having worked in Europe and Australia, Helen loves to travel!

Gareth manages and is responsible for the day-to-day accounting for our business.

David began working for Innovation in October 2015 having graduated from university and taken a year-long break to go travelling. David has learnt quickly and gained many skills since joining and now manages a portfolio of existing clients as well working with our new clients to implement Innovation’s products. David is currently studying towards completing his ATT qualification.

David’s hobbies include football, golf and holidaying.

Ravinder joined Innovation in the summer of 2016 after graduating from university with a degree in ‘Mathematics and Accounting’. Since then, he has gone from strength to strength and currently manages some of Innovation’s largest clients.

Outside of work, Ravinder plays football for a local team and enjoys playing golf and cycling.

Having previously spent 8 years working in the motor insurance industry, Rosie wanted to use her skills to build a career in the financial sector.

Rosie is currently managing her own portfolio of clients whilst also working on new projects and initiatives. She has become a vital member of the team, since joining Innovation in November 2016 and is studying for her AAT qualification.

I joined in July 2023 having previously worked in retail during the pandemic where I developed a keen eye for customer service and thriving in a fast-paced environment. I enjoyed the customer service side of my role and engaging with new people every day.

In my spare time I enjoy playing cricket for my local cricket club. I am a MCC Member, and I have previously played cricket for Wales. Also, on occasions, I’ve been lucky enough to play for the Royal Household at Windsor Castle. I also enjoying watching football and Formula 1.

Firstly can I thank you for your assistance, guidance and understanding in helping me with this matter. The service I have received from you has been first class and you have been a pleasure to deal with.
